Pagan Camp 2005

Circle of Pagans in conjunction with Chester Pagans have organised a Pagan Camp for 8th - 10th July 2005.

It's at the Cornel Scout Camp near Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales (Quite close to Llandudno). The main field has been booked aswell as one of the houses, which has 10 beds, for those of you who don't want to camp it up! Obviously these places are limited so if you'd like a place in the house you need to get in touch immediately. There is also a dry shelter on the site in case it gets a bit wet!

The site has all of the modern facilities you'd expect - Toilets, showers etc. and a large kitchen which we're going to use to do a big breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday. There are disabled facilities.

About the place
The site is located next to the beautiful Lake Crafnant and is at the foot of the Carneddau mountains on one side and a beautiful stretch of the Snowdonia National Park on the other, making it an ideal place for anyone who loves the outdoors.

A variety of workshops will be held throughout the weekend which will be announced as and when we get them together, some that we do have confirmed are Spiritual Art and Wood Magic, but there'll be others covering a variety of subjects so there should be something for everyone!

We'll also have a Pagan storytelling session in the evening, led by renowned Pagan storyteller Andy Harrop Smith.

As well as this there'll be a huge fire and plenty of ale (as long as you bring it!) each evening, so a merry time should be had by all!

Prices
For those who wish to bring a tent it'll be ?7.50 per person for the 2 nights. For those wishing to stay in the bunkhouse it'll be ?15 per person for the 2 nights. These prices are for the entire weekend and not per night. The prices also include breakfast each morning and tea and coffee throughout the weekend. There are also prices per evening for those of you who can't make the entire weekend, contact us on the addresses below to find out more information aout this.

For more information about the site, visit www.cornelscouts.org.uk. To get yourself a place mail us on events@circleofpagans.co.uk. Places are limited and we do need to get them all sorted in advance as the whole thing has to be paid for by June.
